In the days leading up to both the Conference Championship and Super Bowl 49, Seattle #12man pride was ablaze. If you drove around the city at all in the past few weeks, you undoubtedly noticed buildings and architecture hanging 12 flags, and changing their colors to blue and green. PNTA was proud to help create some awesome “hawkitecture”to help show our support for the Seattle Seahawks. Some buildings wanted to display a number 12, others simply wanted to show their pride in the colors blue and green, and some did both! Each idea and solution is different. The Polyclinic on 7th and Madison wanted to create a large 12 and be able to change the color of it nightly. PNTA was able to create a six story tall 12 out of LED fixtures that changed both color and pattern. Picking the right blue and green was a challenge, as not all buildings are white or the same shade of beige. This was taken into account for buildings like MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry). Whatever the customized solution was, PNTA was able to use lighting and some effects to help create 12’s, turn buildings blue and green, and most of all show that Seattle has some of the most dedicated fans in the country.
